About the Owner: Beth Ward
I grew up on the east coast, and moved to California after high school. I had my family before catching the educational bug! I earned my master’s degree in Public Policy & Administration and a BA in organizational leadership and business. I hold CA teaching credentials and Intermediate/Advanced Instructor certifications through POST. I have a true passion for life long learning and sharing that information. With over 26 years of law enforcement experience, I teach courses at the Ventura County Sheriff’s Training Academy.
It is my goal to learn more about you, and discuss your goals. If I can help, I am eager to share my experience to assist you in facilitating positive change to reach your goals, reduce spending, remove silos, and improve workflow. I use my management experience to help agencies and businesses by working directly with individuals and teams.
It is my goal to assist in developing each person within a team to seek positive advancements both personally and professionally.
Meet Instructor
Tracey Claverie
Tracey has over 30 years of experience in law enforcement, including 17 years in supervisory and administrative roles. Throughout his career, he has successfully led the Records, Property, and Custody divisions, bringing operational excellence and strong leadership to each.
Tracey holds multiple POST certifications, including Instructor, Mentor/Coach, and Supervisor. In 2024, he began teaching with the Government Training Agency (GTA), where he instructs both the basic and supervisory level Records Courses. He shares his expertise and enjoys helping the next generation of professionals in the field.
